Elijah Cho (Upper Division)
Elijah graduated from Brandeis University, where he received a Bachelor's degree in American Studies with a minor in Legal Studies. He initially planned to go to law school after college, so he had joined the Brandeis debate team where he gained a deeper appreciation for the art and skill of public speaking and forming coherent thoughts to be communicated efficiently.
Soon after college, Elijah took part in the AmeriCorps program, City Year, to serve students in a K-8 school in a high need community. He sang and danced for the kids every morning to greet them to school, he taught fourth graders math and ELA, and he led a sUpperhero club after school. It was one of the greatest and most rewarding experiences of his life. Soon after, he attended Teachers College, Columbia University for a Master of Arts in the Teaching of Social Studies.
Elijah is currently the 7th and 8th grade Social Studies teacher and proud coach of the Q300 Debate Team. He enjoys photography, journaling, and a good cup of coffee. He can be found in the cafeteria each morning greeting students. He is constantly reading about, planning for, and practicing the art of teaching.
