Adam earned a Bachelor's degree in History Education from the University of Delaware. He became a teacher due to his interest in studying social studies combined with his passion of helping his students progress academically, socially and emotionally. As a social studies teacher Adam hopes to inspire students to learn from history and apply what they learn to their lives.
Adam grew up in Astoria and Long island and loves to learn about the world through visiting different museums that our area offers. He also enjoys travelling to different places and studying their histories. Adam has visited Thailand, Egypt, Mexico, and Turkey and is hoping to use these experiences to help teach his classes.
Adam believes that through learning social studies, students can learn many life-long skills. This includes, close reading, annotating, researching, writing, interacting with diverse peoples, civic engagement, etc.
