Stephanie Praimnath-Teekasingh

3rd Grade Teacher

I attended St. Francis College in iconic Brooklyn Heights; undergraduate studies in Childhood Education with a concentration in English. In addition, I pursued my Master’s degree in Elementary Teaching and Learning, SUNY University at Albany. Having had humble beginnings I took graduated steps along the path of becoming a teacher, which included: babysitting, TA, and subbing. With excitement I say this is my 8th year here, at Q300!

What a joy it's been each year seeing our kids and some of their siblings grow and prosper. I truly believe any one of these children can be the next astronaut, engineer, scientist or social advocate. No dream is far fetched, and it is my fiduciary responsibility in helping students accomplish any dream that their hearts desire. Their futures are so bright; and even if I played the most minuscule part, it makes me feel so blessed.

With two bundles of joy at home, there is always something exciting going on! Traveling with my husband, and learning about new cultures is an essential part of our lifestyle. Each destination is thrilling and I'm grateful to bring these photograph experiences to our classroom lessons!
